One sign-in. No password to paste.
A Microsoft mailbox connects with Sign in with Microsoft. You sign in on the Microsoft page, CommSync gets a token and never your password, and mail goes out through Microsoft Graph, so it lands in your Sent Items.
Outlook · Outlook.com, Hotmail, and Microsoft 365
- Step 1
Enter your address. CommSync recognises an Outlook.com or Microsoft 365 mailbox and shows one button: Sign in with Microsoft.
- Step 2
On a personal Outlook.com account, turn on IMAP first. CommSync opens the setting beside the dialog, and checks it for you after you sign in.
- Step 3
Sign in with Microsoft and allow access. CommSync tests that it can read and send, then asks how much older mail to import.
Most work accounts need a one-time approval from IT. CommSync gives you the approval link, or sends the steps to your admin for you.
Your mail comes through. Your mailbox stays yours.
CommSync keeps an IMAP IDLE connection open, so a new message lands in the right thread within seconds. It reads your mail; it does not rearrange it.
- New mail in seconds, over IMAP IDLE
- Your Sent and Spam folders, in any language
- Older mail, as far back as you choose
- Attachments, with their text made searchable
- Sends through Microsoft Graph, filed in Sent Items
- Your mailbox, your rules, and your folders
- Read, star, and archive: they change in CommSync only
- Your Microsoft password: CommSync never sees it
One thread per contact, and a day that runs itself.
Every message from one contact meets in one thread: their Outlook mail, their texts, and their calls. Then the rest of CommSync goes to work on it.

- Read receipts
See when someone opens an email you sent, like the ticks in a messaging app. No extension, no third party.
- Smart cards
Bills, receipts, shipments, and bookings become cards in the thread, with a reminder the day before a bill is due.
- Agents
An agent answers email on this mailbox in your voice, and waits for your approval until you trust it. Group threads are opt-in.
- Ask
Ask reads your attachments, scanned PDFs included, and answers with the message it found.
- Send later
Schedule a send, cancel it, or move it. Stop a mailing list with one press, from the email itself.
- From and via
Forwarded and routed mail shows its original sender, so a conversation sits under the person, not the relay.
What changes, and what does not.
Short answers for Outlook users.
- Does CommSync change my mailbox?
- No. Read, star, and archive stay in CommSync. The mail server changes only when you choose Delete permanently, which removes the mail on the server too.
- Why does my work account ask for an admin?
- Microsoft does not let a user approve IMAP access alone for most apps. A Global, Cloud Application, or Application Administrator approves CommSync once, and then everyone in the organization can connect their own mailbox.
- Can CommSync read other mailboxes in my company?
- No. CommSync asks for delegated permissions only, so it can read and send mail only for the people who connect their own mailbox.
- Does it work when SMTP is off?
- Yes. CommSync sends through Microsoft Graph and never asks for SMTP, so sends work when your tenant turns off SMTP sign-in.
