One URL. No secret to paste.
Claude connects with OAuth. You give it the server URL, sign in to CommSync, and approve the app on one screen. You can disconnect it at any time.
- Step 1
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors.
- Step 2
Choose Add custom connector. Name it CommSync and paste your server URL.
- Step 3
Select Connect. Claude opens CommSync. Sign in and allow access.
Everything you can do in CommSync, Claude can do too.
The MCP server exposes the same services the CommSync app uses, from a search to building a whole agent. Claude picks the tool; CommSync keeps it inside your lines.
223 tools in 27 sections. The same ones the CommSync app uses.

- Who is waiting on me today, and what did I promise them?
- Find the invoice Hana sent last month and tell me if it was paid.
- Draft a reply to Maya about Thursday. Keep it short.
- Build me a front-desk agent for the Leads line and show me its first test.
- Read and search
Threads, contacts, files, and smart cards, with search by meaning over mail, texts, and scanned attachments.
- Send as you
Replies and new texts or email from your lines. A send to an outside person is marked as such, so Claude asks before it sends.
- Build an agent
96 tools cover agents: draft one from a description, give it knowledge and tools, write tests, read its analysis, and approve its drafts.
One connector, wherever you open Claude.
You add CommSync once, under Connectors. It follows you to claude.ai, to Claude Desktop, and to the Claude app on your phone, so every conversation can reach your lines.
- On your phone
The Claude mobile app carries the same connector. Ask who texted while you were out, and Claude reads the thread, not a summary of one.
- Long work
Ask Claude to go through every open lead. It calls search, reads each thread, and drafts in turn, and it shows each step as it goes.
- An agent from a chat
Describe the agent you want. Claude drafts it, writes a saved test, and runs it, and the Agents page in CommSync shows what it built.
You choose the lines. CommSync holds the rest back.
On the consent screen you pick what Claude can reach. A scoped app sees only the threads on its lines, and CommSync refuses a send from any other line.
- No password
Claude never receives your password or an API key. It gets a token that lasts an hour and renews in the background.
- Named apps
Claude is a proven brand on its own address, so the consent screen shows the green Verified pill.
- Disconnect
Disconnect in Settings → Connect AI apps. The app stops at once, on every device. Change its lines without a new sign-in.

- Step 2
Enter the 6-digit code from the email, or use the button in it.
- Step 3
Choose Just me or a team, then connect an email address or a phone number. The 7-day trial starts, with no card.
- Step 4
CommSync takes you back to the consent screen. Select Allow access, and you are back in Claude.
What Claude gets, and what it does not.
Short answers for Claude users.
- Does Claude get my password?
- No. You sign in on the CommSync page. Claude gets a token for your lines, CommSync stores only a hash of it, and a token that leaks is signed out when an old copy appears.
- Can it send messages?
- Yes, from the lines you allow. Tools such as
send_smsandsend_emailare marked as sends, so Claude asks before it sends to an outside person. - What is the server URL?
https://server.commsync.ai/api/mcp, for every app. Settings → Connect AI apps shows it with a copy button and a guide for each app.- Where is CommSync listed?
- CommSync is in the official MCP Registry as ai.commsync/commsync, on Smithery, and on Glama. Any app that takes a remote MCP server URL can connect.
