How does the free trial work?

Every new workspace starts with a 7-day free trial of Power. You add a card first, and the trial begins the moment the card is saved. The trial has everything: unlimited channels, AI, agents, and team members. Nothing is charged during the trial. On the day the trial ends, the card is charged for Power ($100 per seat per month), and the plan continues month to month. We email you three days before that first charge. Before then you can move to Starter ($25) or Pro ($50), or cancel, in Settings → Billing. A cancel keeps every feature until the trial ends and costs nothing. A workspace that never starts its trial is deleted 30 days after it was created; your account always survives. One free trial per workspace.

What counts as a channel?

A channel is a line you send and receive on: a phone number on Twilio, Skyetel, JustCall, or Quo, or a connected email account. Channels belong to the workspace, and one number or address can be linked to one workspace at a time.

How does per-seat billing work?

Accepted Answer

The workspace is the billing unit: one subscription, with the quantity equal to your seat count. Channel, storage, and AI-credit allowances multiply by seats and pool across the whole team. A 4-seat Pro workspace has 60 channels, 100 GB of storage, and $40 of AI credits a month, shared. One teammate can use more than their share as long as the pool has room.

What happens when I add or remove a teammate?

An invitation grows your seat count by itself, with a prorated charge for the rest of the billing cycle. You see the amount before you confirm. Removing a member never shrinks your seats on its own. To reclaim a seat, lower the quantity in Settings → Billing, and the credit goes on your next invoice.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. A tier or seat change is prorated at once, never deferred to the next billing period. An upgrade charges the prorated remainder now. A downgrade puts a prorated credit on your next invoice.

How do AI credits work?

Every plan includes a monthly allowance of AI credits per seat: dollars of AI use, refreshed each billing period. Labels, inbox triage, the Daily Brief, Ask, and Agents all draw on the same pooled allowance. Need more? Buy a top-up from $5 to $500 at a time, at usage-based prices. Purchased credits never expire, and CommSync uses them only after the included allowance runs out. An optional auto top-up keeps the balance funded, under a monthly cap you set.

What happens if I hit a cap?

Nothing breaks and nothing is deleted. A cap only blocks new additions. A new channel or webhook endpoint waits for an upgrade. Storage warns at 80%, where the import of history pauses while live messages keep flowing, and you can add 50 GB blocks for $5 a month each. AI features pause when the included credits and the purchased balance run out: top up to keep going, or wait for the allowance to refresh.

Do AI agents come with every plan?

CommSync Agents, the AI responders that answer inbound SMS and email on the lines you choose, start on Pro with 1 agent. Power includes 5. There is no monthly reply cap: agent replies draw on the AI credits of the workspace, like every other AI feature. Starter still gets the rest of CommSync AI: labels, inbox triage, the Daily Brief, and Ask.
